The Sony World Photography Awards, sebuah kompetisi tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Organisasi Dunia Fotografi, baru-baru ini mengumumkan daftar shorlist pemenang sementara. Kontes tahun ini menarik lebih dari 140.000 peserta dari 166 negara. Panitia telah berbaik hati untuk berbagi beberapa gambar terpilih mereka dengan In Focus, berkumpul di bawah ini. Pemenang dijadwalkan akan diumumkan pada bulan Maret dan April. Dan setiap kategori nanti akan diambil 1 pemenang utama, Semua keterangan di bawah ini berasal dari fotografer
139.554 foto dari 166 negara termasuk Indonesia , diserahkan kepada Sony World Photography Awards tahunan ketujuh, dan sekarang panitia telah memperlihatkan daftar shorlist nya yang terbaik. Dibagi menjadi kelompok profesional dan amatir, mulai dari fotografi arsitektur dan konseptual untuk alam dan satwa liar fotografi .
Seluruh daftar shorlist akan dipamerkan di London Somerset House selama 18 hari di bulan Mei, meskipun pemenang akan diumumkan sebelumnya, dengan terbuka dan kategori pemula pemenang diumumkan pada tanggal 18 Maret dan kategori Profesional acara pengumumanya sendiri pada tanggal 30 April. Kontribusi besar diberikan oleh pihak Sony untuk pemilihan fotografer terbaik ini.
